well joe is really right ...duct work should be sized correctly for the furnace to function as intended if not .. could ruin furnace and hurt someone?????

19 1/4" side 14 " front. This is the supply air plenum.

But why not just measure for your self?

This document is over 30 years old, but it gave me an education

http://www.toolbase.org/PDF/DesignGu...ct_systems.pdf

Along with the manuals that came with my furnace.

Now I'm just trying to figure out if I want the furnace to be in the middle of the basement with plenums running in both directions, or at the end of the house with one long plenum. I think it will work better with two plenums.

Is therte an existing furnace in the house?
Are you needing a transition to tie into existing duct work?
