I need help wiring my thermostat.

Hey I have a ARUF363616CA Goodman furnace. It is a 13 seer unit wired to my outside unit which is a 10 seer. I'm pretty sure that they are compatible units. I was told the only issue I will have is build up in the coils of my furnace over a long period of time but i dont see how that warrants the installation of a new compressor for 2500 dollars.

I am having issues wiring a thermostat with my 2 stage heating system. I thought I had everything wired right but my thermostat was not compatible with my 2 stage heater. I wired during the summer and my A/C worked correctly so i did not notice the error until i started running my heat. Only the emergency heat worked. It was a honeywell thermostat. I have a 5 wire thermostat wire running from my thermostat to my furnace. I bought a 7 wire If i need to rewire. I was under the impression that if I changed the wiring around then my system would immediately kick in auxillary heat instead of taking a few minutes. But thats not really my mission.

I need to get my auxillary heat to kick in so my sytem doesnt run emergency heat.

Hear is a wiring diagram of my furnace.

i cant get link to work. I searched wiring diagram and found this forum.

A link to the forum.

Here are some pictures of how my furnace is wired. The top brown thermostat wire goes to my thermostat and the one that appears on the bottom goes to my outside compressor.

The small blue wire from my thermostat conects to an orange wire leading to the outside compressor. The small blue wire from the outside compressor leads to the blue furnace wire.

My compressor model number is EABA-F036SE. I cant find a wiring diagram.

Here is how it is wired.

The top purple wire connects to X/L. The bottom white wire connects to (some letter) ?1/66. I forgot what the letter it was.

My old thermostat was not a 2 stage heat thermostat. The only difference between this new thermostat and my old one was the b wire went into an o/b. My heat strips worked but the outside unit would not turn on. I bought this hunter because it was the only multistage heat thermostat at my lowes or home depot. model 44378 . here is how it is wired.

Do i just have to put the B wire on my thermostat to the W1. I dont wont to harm the unit so i decided to ask for help. If you need any more pics or info pelase ask. Thank you in advance.
