I have a 2250sf home with a 58 pav 110000 (89000) Carrier furnace. I would like to replace it with a Carrier ICS furnace but not sure what size to pick! The house is 13yrs old in Michigan. Should I pick the 100000 or the 80000?

Reason: More info
Welcome Karlk, to the best darn DIY'r site on the web.
The only way to really tell what size unit is really needed is to do a manual J, this is an extensive spread sheet that summarizes the heat losses in your home, this will not only allow you to come up with the size of unit needed but based on the load in BTU's per room will also allow you to properly size your duct work.
The spread sheet is available online at what I believe is a fee of $40 for one time home owner use, but it is a complex sheet where multiple variables must be input to arrive with qualified results.
When its all said and done there is usually more said than done
