hvac FAN BLOWING CONSTANTLY

I recently had a problem with my electric HVAC system. The blower fan ran constantly, even when system off. I had the TIME DELAY RELAY replaced, and it worked fine for one day, maybe two, and now it is right back to blowing constantly. Could something have blown out the new relay, or did I replace the wrong part?

Also check...
Thermostat setting or fault, bare insulation anywhere between thermostat wires R & G , drywall nail doing the same. Try removing thermostat wire from board connection "G" to see if the fan stops.
Lightly tap the fan relay when it should be off to see if it unsticks. Will still need replacing if it does.

Hey, don't knock it...Uncle gave me one exactly like that...I hear it's been in the family since the 1920s. Makes a graet conversion piece ...and it sill works.

I collect old HVAC tools....I love the industry history.
