We are remodelling and cut off a rectangular heating duct. We want to attach the flexible tubular duct to route the heat back to the vent.
What is the best method to attach tubular duct to a metal rectangular one? Thanks

What is the diameter of the tubular duct? Try HDepot and look for what is called a side take off sheet metal fitting or go to your local sheet matal shop for one. Make a plate at the end of the duct and cut in the take off fitting, it crimps on. Looks like this one:http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=h...w=1152&bih=725

"Cut it twice and it is still too short".
