Humidifier water valve

I had trouble with mine leaking in the fall after it had been shut off for the summer and left dry. I think when the water in it evaporated, it left behind mineral deposits that interfered with the seal.

I love having a whole-house humidifier. Went with the portable unit first but they were always such a pain to keep refilling. A whole-house unit is set-and-forget then just service once a year, it's awesome.
