Humidifier inop

This humidifier has worked well for many years. Today though I noticed that no water was flowing. I heard the solenoid click. The saddle valve is open. I cracked the inlet line and made sure I had flow to the valve. I shut the saddle valve and removed the solenoid and valve. I clamped the mounting tab in a vise and supplied 24 volts DC to the solenoid. It clicked but aparently the valve does not open. I have it soaking in vinegar to loosen up any scale that may have been deposited. I see no way to take this valve apart to clean it. What am I missing? Thanks!

Thanks, it was exactly that! The orifice was plugged. I opened it and everything is better. Now it seems that the amount of water that is wasted is excessive. Lowes aparently does not sell a new and smaller orifice so I closed the saddle valve most of the way to reduce wasted water. The humidity in the house seems to be comfortable. Again, thank you "KENNZZ 05"
