how to wire a low voltage thermostat to a baseboard heater

I made the mistake of thinking a baseboard heater had an intermal thermostat or control board that I could hook up to a remote low voltage thermostat. I have 220 to the heater, plus a low voltage thermostat wire. I was browsing around the internet last week and found something that would work. It was an internal board that you could hook use to hook up the LV wire. Wasn't cheap. About 115$, but cheaper than reopening walls and wiring a single pole thermostat. Now I cannot find that site or that part and have browsed all over with no results. Anyone seen something like this, or have any other ideas?
