How to replace Trane compressor?

Can you remove the compressor by loosening the copper line with a wrench? Or do you torch the copper lines and pull out?

Not sure if it's copper lines or aluminum?

How to replace Trane compressor?

Hope you recover/recovered the gas first, before opening the system up.

Plus, you still need to replace/add a filter drier to the liquid line. plus, then determine what caused the old compressor to fail. You don't want to have to replace the new one in another week, or another year.

How to replace Trane compressor?

if you have to ask, the best way to remove it is use your phone to call a tech. I am guessing that is it an R22 unit and as such, there are some legal restrictions on venting the refrigerant as well as being able to obtain any to refill your unit.
