How hard is it to relocate vent opening about 4"?

How hard is it to relocate a vent opening about 4"?

I'm installing a shower base right now thats about 4" wider than my old tub. THe vent was already at the edge of the old tub, but with the new shower, it almost completely blocks the vent.

I already have access to the subfloor and can cut back the floor to allow space for the vent to move further out.

Just wondering, how hard is this- and am I getting myself into a world of hurt? If you guys can walk me through some basic steps, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks all.

Vent would need to move 3" towards the tiled area.

Depends on the plumbing pipes under the floor. from the top side it looks like no problem to move it back toward the tile further. But until you check under the floor, no way to tell.
