How do I adjust the fan/blower speedon my A/C unit?

My AC unit is a "concept" and is approximately 12 years old. It is a self contained unit (AC only as I have a oil furnace). A couple years ago a tech turned the blower speed up to help push hot air out of the heat exchanger when the furnace is in use.

I would like to turn the fan speed down to cut back on noise as my recliner is right under the return vent. Furnace and AC use the same blower. Problem is the sticker fell off of the speed switch and I can't remember what is what. The fan speed switch is located next to the fan and has a white wire on the bottom then a black wire then a blue wire. I believe he said it was basically a two speed fan with "low medium" and "medium high". Right now the blue wire is in the top connection then the black. Then there a blank connection then the white wire.

Am I correct thinking to turn the fan speed down I move the the blue and black wire down one connection? This would leave the top connection blank. Hope I explained this well enough.

AC runs hi speed low in heating if you change the speed in cooling might lead to problems.... outside or icing up..add a return to defuse that wind tunnel test under the reciliner.AC needs as many changes over the coil as possible during a run...LOW in heating the slowest air MOLICULE takes longer to heat up....takes longer to loose it during cooling need for cycles of air on the coil...
