Default How to connect a Digital Thermostat (Electric heating)

(Previously asked in the electrical forum...)

Hi,

I have a digital thermostat, and I am not sure how to connect it.

Company : Industries C-Mac Inc (I cannot find informations on their website, but the thermostat looks like this one : http://www.aubetech.com/products/pro...t=7&noLangue=2)
kW : 0.3-2.5
V : 240
f : 60

I want to use it to control an electric baseboard heater (240 V) (All the heating in the house is electric.)

The thermostat has three wires : Yellow, Purple and Black.

How can I connect it to the 240 V circuit?

The 240 V line comes directly from the breaker panel, and then goes to the heater (No transformers).

Thanks

JF
