Hot Water Heat Pump?

Is anyone familiar with the "AirTap" hot water heat pump by airgenerate? I'm looking to replace my current electric hot water tank with something more efficient. Was originally looking tankless but came across this heat pump which would also help remove the moisture in the basement (althoug i'm adding new gutters and regrading the lawn to ultimatly resolve the damp basement). Are these pumps reliable, produce enough hot water, and what kind of maintenance is required? Any recommendations or reviews from experience with the product would be great.

A. How warm is your basement now.
Its going to be a lot colder with that HP.

B. Is your basement ceiling insulated.
Your first floors floor will become very cold.
