Hot water baseboard heat. auto air bleeder???

can I add it to a loop in the middle elevation of a heating system? Or does it have to be at the very top of the highest loop?

We are replacing a baseboard unit on the first floor of a two story (with basement) townhome. That loop somehow collected most the air in the past. Not sure about now with the slight re routing we are doing.

thanks
Mike

Yes, it can be added to the first floor.

But, you should try to find out here all the air was coming from.

An air seperator may be better.
