Hot Water Baseboard Heat

My house uses a conventional hot water system with "old style" radiators. They work great, I have no complaints.

We've recently gutted our 12' x 25' enclosed front porch and are making it into a normal room. The walls, ceiling, and new construction windows will be fully insulated and the floor will be insulated the best we can (there is cement foundation around the outside, but the ground is dirt, there is no basement under this room). We also live in CT where the weather gets quite cold in the winter.

It's been recommended I tap into my existing pipes and install "hot water baseboard heat". A quick search on the net does not provide much information on this. Can anyone give me ideas on what I should be looking for, or is there something else I should be looking at? I'm also working on a tight budget, but understand I probably have to source this to a plumber.

Hot Water Baseboard Heat

May be fine maybe not. Water temp requirements might be different for cast iron radiators versus the baseboard radiators.
If the two are compatible I think it may be a good solution. Best to have an HVAC guy spec it out.
