Hooking up a non-equipped pellet stove to a home thermostat
My wife and I just bought our first house this summer and in it we have forced hot air oil heat and a pellet stove in the basement. The model pellet stove we have is the Enviro EF2i and lacks Enviro's built-in feature for being controlled by the central home thermostat, but I was wondering if there was a way to do this anyway.

Does anyone have any idea if this is possible? Here is a link to the owner's manual for my particular model. The wiring diagram is on page 31. Enviro EF2 Owner's Manual (PDF link)

If they don't sell a kit to do it.
Then no good way to do it safely.

What makes it unsafe?

Not UL approved.

Meaning that its not certified not to cause a fire hazard if the external thermostat you use fails.

You can buy the UL approved remote panel, and use is.

While this may be trivial to you. Call your insurance company. And see what they say.

Use of non UL approved methods, allow insurance companies to not pay for damages.
