Honeywell VR8200H Pilot ok but no burner flame

I recently received a used furnace form a neighbor that was converted to propane. I have it connected to propane and the pilot light starts up ok. When power 24vac is supplied to the Honeywell VR8200H 1236 gas valve, I can hear and feel a nice solid click, but there is no gas flow to the burner.
has anyone run into this problem? Solenoid clicks but no gas.
Honeywell specs say this valve is slow opening. How slow would it be? few seconds? milliseconds?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If this is a standing pilot furnace it could be a faulty regulator in the valve or inadequate gas supply/pressure.

Being propane, i wouldn't mess with it. Call a pro -> it may not even be installed right.

What's the gas pressure set to?
Has the heat exchanger been checked, being its a used unit?

Slow in the case means, seconds to about a minute or so. The regulator inside is controlled via gas pressure. So if the inlet pressure is inadequate or the control orfice is plugged, it won't open. Closing is usually immediate. (within a second or 2) The pilot port on the valve has a separate regulator.

The only thing a professional can do is test the pressure to the manifold and see if adjusting the reg makes any difference. The next step is to change the valve. While it's possible to DIY this if you're mechanically savvy, it wouldn't be advisable if you haven't had any training.

Cheers!

Thanks for your help. Turns out there was a bad connection inside and one of the coils were not activating. Ill be replacing the valve.
Thanks again.
