Honeywell TrueSteam Install Wiring

I am installing a truesteam and have hit a roadblock the wiring, I cannot get it working I called Honeywell but they have not been helpful. All the info I have seen online talks about a HVAC control board I do not have any kind of board in my unit. No matter how I wire the truesteam it gives me a code that means HVAC 24V is missing, when I test the wires going into it it has 24v with the fan on and off. My HVAC has no A/C it is just for heat, when the t state in the house calls for heat a hot water zone at the furnace turns on and sends hot water in a pipe from my furnace (to other side of the house)to the HVAC there is a t-state on the coil in the HVAC ductwork when it gets hot the fan goes on when it gets cold the fan turns off. Perhaps if you told us what wires you connected where. Someone could help.

I have (2) wires going from the mech. humidstate to the truesteam HUM & HUM, there is something that looks like a resister near the fan it has a red and brown wire the red has 24v all the time so I ran I wire from there to the C&R on the truesteam, I ran 1 wire from my t-state to GF on the truesteam

You have the same wire on the R and C of the truesteam?

yes, I had it wired a bunch of ways none of them worked but I found a post somewhere and it said the R & C needed 24v so I found a source for the 24v and connected R&C to it. thx for the reply

R gets 24 volts.
C is to the common of that 24 volts. They don't get connected to the same wire.

I have found the best way to wire a truesteam is using a IAQ stat two wires and and setting a dip switch. Works great.
