honeywell truesteam - communicating trane system
 

i have found out that my honeywell truesteam cannot be wired up to my new trane xc 95m communicating furnance system [ IFC board] W2- W1- BK- G-D-R-B/C-Y1-Y2-O so now to try to make this truesteam stand alone with a seperate trane visionPRO IAQ thermostat and some kind of wiring to make it work and control humidity level-any ideas? THANKS - mike.

get rid of the truesteam, nothing but trouble..... Get something that will work such as a bypass or powered humidifier, even the aprilaire 800 steam humidifier will work with your XC system I believe

I have the truesteam already wiredup to [220 volt] water connected and steam tube into the ductwork.Got to be a way to make it work without hooking it up to the A/C unit. THANKS
