honeywell thermostat not working


hello, i'm having problems with our furnace. i just replace the batteries in the thermostat and i've tried combining the red and white wires behind the thermostat. with the two wires together the furnace runs, but the blower cycles on and off, this continues for about 10 mins.

honeywell thermostat not working


So the problem is in the furnace. Helps to know brand and model number of furnace.
