Question

Honeywell slant/fin boiler

Furnace keeps kicking off when boiler temperature reaches between 160 and 170 degrees F. The PSI stays at 15 and doesn't seem to be the problem. Does anyone know what might be causing this and what I need to replace to get it fixed?

The temp operating controls are just doing there job. Temps much above this range are just going to be causing problems for you.
Sounds like it's running the way it's supposed to.
By "KIcking off" do you mean that just the main gas burners turn off untill the water temp drops back below 150F but the pump continues to run with the thermostat calling for heat?
Are you not getting the heat you want, where you want it?
