Question

Honeywell RTH7600 program issues

Installed a new thermostat, system works properly but unable to set the 4 different program schedules to work. Wake time set 5:45 temp a/c 82, leave time 2:00 temp a/c 75, return 2:45 temp 85, sleep time set to 81. Electric rates the most at 3 to 6, so I want to pre-cool house 45min prior than higher temp so a/c doesnt run dureing on peak hrs. I have set this for 5 days a week with a different settings for sat, sun. the RTH 7600 doesnt work? not sure what programing I'm missing. Is there a max temp differnce that a 10deg is outside its limits? I've tried reset, removing batteries, turning breaker on and off. At my wits end. Any thoughts out there

each day has to be programmed or do the copy instruction step.make sure actual time/day is up,and watch the AM/PM s it sounds like your missing hitting copy to take day/time..

What do you mean by, doesn't work?

It doesn't turn your A/C on or off.
Or that the house isn't cooled to those temps by that time.

10 decrease in temp. Can take a long long time. Some systems may take 12 hours to do that on a hot day. And only 2 hours on a cool day.
