Home heating with Nat Gas stove?
I want to replace two old, massive, Bvent empire floor heaters with a DV Hearthstone Sterling NG stove =- 12,000-37,000 BTU/hr, heats up to 1800 sq ft. The house is 1100 sq ft. Will a unit like this heat a home, efficiently (assume the insulation is r13, in VT)? I'm really just curious if a stove like this will be cranking through gas in order to maintain. I will add a small monitor on the other side of the house as well. The Hearthstone seems like the perfect blend of ambiance and heat - I hope someone has some encouraging advice. Thanks
