high humidity in my house

my house is 3 years old. about three weeks ago the humidity in my house has gone up to 85%, i can cool the house down just fine and the humidity starts to come down but as soon as the a/c turns off the humidity goes back up. drain pan is dry, drain line is not clogged, and filter has been changed.

Check your return duct for leaks.

Could be that the system is low on charge. Or the air flow is too high. Was a new fan motor installed within the last few months.
