Here is tip to service a furnace.
 
Here is some tips to service furnace to save money.


Clean flame sensor or thermocouple ( replace it every 3 years)

Clean burners Note: use shop vac. do not take burners out you may not get them back in right

Oil all moving parts that Fan motor and draft motor.

90 % or higher and hum.Put white vinegar into drain to help clean out all the junk in it.

Clean fan blower dust and pet hair around the motor will in time causing to over heat. Check temp to on it. If it is runnig hot you may have trouble.

Check all wires and connections. Most of all check ground wires to insure good ground.

Change air filter and battery in thermostats.

That is what you can do to help the furnace to run good this year but it is still good to have the pro's to come out once awhile.
