Help with Trane HVAC Thermostat
I am trying to find out how to use the thermostat for our Trane AC/Heat Pump Unit. It is used unit and the thermostat didn't come with instructions. The thermostat has settings for auto, heat, cool and a slide for the temperature setting. You have two slide indicators - one red for heat and one blue for cool. I'm trying find out if its better to run the unit in the Auto setting and let the temperature setting determine when it kicks on or if we should be using the Cool setting. (We are in Florida, so its hot & humid, don't know if that makes a difference or not). I don't know the name brand or style number for the thermostat. Appreciate any help I can with this.
