HELP! Furnace not working after thermostat change...
I have a natural gas furnace and I temporarily disconnected my thermostat since I am repainting my hallway.
I reconnected the same thermostat the exact same way and it will not turn on anymore. I was planning on replacing it but for now I figured I would reconnect the same one just to make the furnace work.
The thermostat does not go on any more.
I am sure the wires are hooked up to the correct places, I even made a diagram before disconnecting it.
What am I doing wrong? My breaker that powers the furnace did not trip and I flipped it off and back on again just incase.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Did you Flip it off before you disconnected anything, Or did you flip the breaker on and off after you reconnected it?
Does it take batteries?
What make and model is it?
No I didn't flip the breaker off, big mistake.
I am assuming I may have shorted something?
Check for a blown low voltage fuse on furnace circuit board
