Help With Date Of Manufacture

I am assisting a friend of mine with his home purchase and was wondering if one of you talented individuals could decypher the following Model and Serial #'s to arrive at a date of manufacture and tonnage.

Payne AC Compressor

Model #PA13NR042-H
Serial #0609X62476

As always your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Mark

Help With Date Of Manufacture

Carrier, Bryant, Payne, Day & NightRecently (last 20 years or so) the first four numbers in the serial number represent the week and year.
Previously, it was a complex series of letters and single digits. Call 905-672-0860 if you get stuck.

Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?
