help choosing toe kick heater

I would like to put a toe kick heater in our new kitchen addition. I would like to run pex tubing. Im thinking about the turbonics toester 10/12. I read in some old post here that some people chose not to install the toester because they wanted to use the pex. Is that still the case & why?

also, are any brands more quiet then others ? I dont mind spending a little more for a better/ quieter product. any advice? thanks
