Help: Blower stuck, won't cool, won't heat, just cleaned

We had our ductwork cleaned yesterday, and ever since the blower motor has been stuck on. None of the switches on the thermostat make any difference - whether the fan is set to "on" or "auto", or whether the system is set to "cool" "off" or "heat". I tried setting the temp to 65 and "cool", but the AC didn't come on. I tried setting the temp to 85 and "heat", but the furnace didn't come on.

I read in another thread that I should check the blower relay (though I would think the AC/furnace would still come on if it was that). Maybe the thermostat? Any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated!

We've been leaving messages with the ductwork cleaner. We don't think he's necessarily shady, but we already know a few corners he lazily cut. Even if we make them fix the problem, I'd like to know what you all think it might be so I can keep tabs on his work.

Thanks!

STUCK as if it doesn't spin or won't run in any mode...remove the stat off subbase and jump R to G have somebody be at furnace....yelling out if it runs....does it free spin either direction were they in the funace itself cleaning the coils or squirrel cage on that motor....did they shut the system before the cleaning....did they remove the fan section to clean....

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for being unclear. The blower motor is stuck on, circulating air, but it will not heat or cool. It doesn't matter what I set the thermostat to (cool, heat, off).

Ok so remove the stat off the subbase the fan should go OFF.if it stll stays on the relay within the furnace or the control module in the furnace has the fan relay closed constantly....for that no cool/heat the fan shouldn't effect the CALL for either?

If the blower stays running (that is what you mean, right?) the blower relay is stuck. Unless the duct cleaning guys messed up some wiring, which is doubtful. Post a model number of the furnace and we can help you find the part, hopefully not a whole control board.

They probably stepped on a wire or accidently knocked a wire nut off in the attic and popped the low voltage fuse in the furnace.

Usually 3 amp for gas heat and 5 amp for electric heat...

Houston, it's stuck on. A blown fuse wouldn't let anything work.

I usually see a wire nut knocked off the float switch on the secondary pan when this happens...

Some brands will run the fan when this happens.

To the OP, Does this furnace have a diagnostic LED?

Indeed, there was some component that had the terminal bumped loose (see attached pic). Thank you guys!

For reference, I can't tell what the label means, but the model # looks like P2MPD16M09601A.
