heil 9000 draft inducer motor replacement
I am replacing my draft inducer motor in my Heil 9000 furnace because it sounds like a bearing or bushing is going out. I went to Johnson Controls and got the reccomended replacement motor with the same volts, rpms, etc. I installed the new motor/fan and it ran great but the furnace would not kick on. I then reinstalled the old one and the furnace worked. I went to a different parts warehouse to get a replacement fan and they gave me the exact same part....so I installed that one and the exact same thing happened ...fan ran great but the furnace would not kick on. Could it be that I got 2 bad replacement parts or what else could be the cause of the furnace not working when I replace the fan. Any thoughts would be appreciated. thanks
