Heating? (Crawlspace -vs- basement)

Which is easier to heat—a two-story house with a crawlspace, or the same two-story house with a basement?

Heating? (Crawlspace -vs- basement)

Hi kcrossley

I have a two story house with a crawl space. As far as putting the heating system in, it wore my son and I both plumb out. It would have taken about two days less with a basement. As far as heating is concerned, that is going to be dictated by the equipment installed. Low end equipment is going to eat you out of house and home in utility cost. High end equipment is going to cost you upfront, but save a ton in the utility end. Hope this answered your questions.

Good luck
Rusty
