Heater not blowing air

I just came home from thanksgiving out of town and turned on my heat. I can hear the heater click on, however, no air is blowing from any vents. I've tried switching the fan from auto to on, however this still doesnt work. The funny thing is, when I have the fan in the "on" position, then turn the heat off, the fan starts to blow air. But once I switch it back to heat, the fan turns off.

Any suggestions? I really don't know anything about my HVAC system, and I've tried calling my property manager, but no answer.

Any thoughts?

Control board may have a bad timer on it. Some boards are set up that a heat call over rides the fan on switch of the thermostat. Sounds like you have one of those.
