Heat Start Up Then Stops Help!

My heater sounds like it's starting up, then just stops. The same thing happened this past summer when my a/c was doing the same thing. Are these two things related? What could be wrong? I sweltered all summer but can't face freezing all winter

Heat Start Up Then Stops Help!

Much as I hate to admit it...I will have to go look. I am pretty recently divorced and I am not good at this yet . One thing I have learned so far is that if I have no clue what the problem is, there are 1000 tradesmen who hear the mental "kaching!" when they realize it. I will look when I get home from work. Who'da thunk it could get this cold in Alabama??
