Heat pump going into defrost mode in the summer
 

Recently I replaced the condenser motor and capacitor. Same day the unit started going into defrost mode about every hour and staying in that mode for 20 or 30 min. So I replaced the defrost board the abiant sensor and the sensor that goes up in the copper tube that check the temp to make sure it isn't freezing up. Also put in a new digital thermostat inside. After all of that still doing the same thing. I replaced the condenser motor because it wasn't running just humming and when I would try to force the start up it wouldn't Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

You made sure reversing valve is in ac mode not heat? What is the temp when u did this all? Check defrost switch for wire split and touching?
