Heat pump fan problem

The fan on the outside portion (condenser, coils, whatever you wanna call em) of my heat pump has quit working. (again) This happened about 2 months ago and they came in and replaced the fan motor and capacitor. When it went out that time, it would quit spinning and buzz loudly as the fan motor was trying to spin. A quick boost from a long screwdriver would get it spinning again for a little while. This time the buzzing sounds different and the push from the screwdriver starts it going, but it never actually gets up to speed and then stops 10-20 seconds later. My thought is that its something electrical this time, but I'm not sure where to start checking. Any help on trouble shooting would be appreciated.

Heat pump fan problem

Check the capacitor. It and the motor should have a 1 year warranty if you don't want to mess with it.
