Heat Pump blowing warm air after T-Stat change

Rheem Heat Pump & Air Handler - Just replaced the old Thermostat with a new Honeywell programable Thermostat -

Now I have warm air blowing on the cool cycle - Connections are as follows, and are the same as the old T-Stat, but I'm having problems.......

R - Red
Y - Yellow
O/B - Orange
G - Green
Aux - White
E - Brown

What Am I not seeing or doing wrong here?

Change the O/B setting or switch to B. Rheem/ Ruud energizes it in heat, all other mfr's energize in cool.

So take the Brown to the O/B terminal? Where would the Orange go?

I just went through the Thermostat and made sure all the settings were correct.......

No, the honeywell stat needs to be programmed to operate the O/B terminal in heating. This is done in the install setup portion of programming the new stat.

Put it in cool then feel the large copper line coming from the heat pump. If the pipe is cold and still blowing warm air from the air handler then there's a short in the thermostat wire causing an element to run when it shouldn't. If the copper line is hot then the O/B setting is wrong.
