heat pump


if it is 40 degrees outside how can a heat pump heat a building

heat pump


By absorbing the heat that is the air. There is always heat in the air. If there wasn't, then it would be absolute zero outside, and the air would be a solid block of frozen oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and a few other misc compounds.

Along with the heat of compression.
