I am currently renting a room with its own thermostat. It functions, as the blue spark flies to let me know..
The heat kicks on "by itself" and pursuing an answer.
The irony of it kicking on *after* closing down the window for the evening, all while the room is still roasting from the day is even more perturbing.
Should I assume prankster with a bit of rooming house know how? I know the landlord would not want this heat kicking on for a 75 degree room .....
I did note a lamp flickers, and even a wall SNAPS when it kicks on. Like something much bigger than a thermostat is going on here...Also, the thermostat for the room is indeed off, no connection. Should I just packup and run before the big fire?
meanwhile, window is open this late evening, I am on fire to the full blast heat unstoppable.
