Heat elements making noise

I am just curious, roughly what would a hot water baseboard heating system cost? Boiler, baseboards, etc...installation..

Carrierman, do you have a website based in NY for steam traps? Also what type of steam trap am I getting? I have 1 inc pipes, so I beleive it has to be 1 inc. I am going to give this guy the benefit of doubt and see what happens tonight, he is going to bring down the water return. I keep asking on the forum, what's the pitch on the water return, but everyone seems to ignore the question, do you know? Thanks

Hi helplesshandyman

I believe you said your return line is 2", that is the size of steam trap you need. They are not all that fancy or hard product to understand, the are pretty basic. The pitch for most lines is 10 deg. which roughly translated is 1" per 10 linear feet of pipe. Let me know if I can help any further.

Good luck
Rusty
