HCAC Drain (Into Septic)
I have a Carrier Heat Pump Infinity and I have been having problems with the AC Unit possibly over loading the The Septic Field with too much water , We live in the Houston Tx Area where there is a lot of Humidtiy , First Question is Anyone know the maxium amount of Gallons of water that would drain out in a 24 hour period .

And second what can I do if I need to reroute a new pumbing line into the attic and then out into a drainage pit outside and off of the septic line ?

The AC Unit is on the First Floor Center of Home .

Gallons per day depends on size of unit, plus amount of infiltration the home has. So what size is your A/C.

Your septic field should be able to handle several hundred gallons of water per day. Your evaporator drain would have to be running like a faucet to overload a properly working septic system. You might need to have you septic system inspected and/or pumped if your A/C is overloading it.
