Hanging Furnace with DuctworK?

I have a Reznor Hanging furnace in my garage, Model F50. I am going to be finishing the ceiling and I have an idea, but not sure if its possible. Is there any kind of conversion kit for the front of the unit that would allow me to run some flexible duct work (say 6" round) and then run it to a ceiling register with the same 6" connection in it? I found these ceiling panels, and I don't know if its okay to make a reducer in the front of the unit or not.

thanks for the help

It's not recommended to reduce the outlet size or impeded the air flow on a hanging unit heater, or any forced air heater for that matter.
The unit could overheat and not only be damaged itself, but could also cause a fire. At the least the unit will shut off on high-limit enough to be a nuisance.

Here is the PDF. https://www.rezspec.com/index.php?pa...D=000000000002 I-F_B.. They don't have a conversion listed.

Is it a belt drive motor or a direct drive motor.

Please post the whole model and serial #..

The pdf I have was too large to post.

Reznor makes units that are designed to be ducted but yours is not.The ducted ones usually have a squirl cage blower and not a propeller.
DO NOT TRY TO ATTACH DUCT TO YOUR UNIT.
fabrk8r is exactly correct. You could start a fire. But then at least you would be warm,,,,,LOL
