A friend's wife called and said their furnace was "making some noise". This is what he found. Yikes....

usually that is because of high static pressure or the wheel being underdesigned for the hp of the motor. one brand I know of has a thin gauge wheel but 10" wide and with a 3/4 hp motor. not engineered for that type of power and when fully loaded slowly comes apart and BOOM.

I bet they thought their roof was caving in when that happened, probably thought someone was actually bombing their home.

Scared the holy bugeezez out of them, I'm sure. I'd like to see slow motion of their facial expressions when it occured.
