Got a new AC & furnace. How long does the inspection take?

They are supposed to make sure the venting is 3 feet away from a gas meter or fresh air intake to the house or window that can open etc. there are code requirements for venting and piping support etc. Jiggle it and hope it does not fall apart, yeah right, sounds like those hacker home inspectors.
