Goodman MBR1200AA thermostat question

If you mean by two wires for heat on being first and second stage than many thermostats offer that option.

The thermostat connections are as follows:

W1) First stage heat
W2) Second stage heat
G) Fan (circulation)
Y1) First stage cool
Y2) Second stage cool
R) 24 volts (power)
C) Common, used for powering digital stats

But with one 7 kw strip I'd doubt you have two stages of heat.

If you only have 2 wires at the thermostat. You either need to run more wires to the stat, or gt a 2 wire stat that uses an EIM.
