Goodman Ice on piping

My Goodman CK36-1B is blowing cool air during the day and cold air at night. There is ice on the line leading from the compressor into the house.

I installed a new filter, cleaned the air conditioning unit's fins, and turned off the A/C until all the ice melted. When I restarted the unit, it is still only blowing cool air.

I replaced the condenser last year and it appears okay (is not swollen).

The volume of air seems adequate but it is cool / luke warm during the day. However, at night it begins blowing cold air and by the morning, it is freezing in the house.

Help...

Did you wash out the fins of the outdoor coil? Hard to do on those Goodmans. It is probably dirty inside those fins and giving a false load to the machine. At night when it cools down, the unit which is actually low on freon will freeze up. You need a tech to check for low freon level and clean the coil properly.
