I'm wondering if this will have a domino effect. Like Plummen has said, many people might not want that name brand in their homes any longer, might not want to give them their money to support what the local news is referring to him as, "that creep."

It sounds like a "witch hunt" based on old reputations and a common name.

I'm just wondering if this now very public trial directly related to Goodman Manufacturing if by name alone will cause them financial troubles.

I guess time will tell.

John Goodman or his family would have to be the ones to sue them. Not you, if it was a false and maliciously reported story.

The false story, is YOU making him sound to be the heir to the Goodman manufacturing company.

Very few people will even realize that his name is the same as the brand. Unless other people point it out to them.

Hulk Hogan picked up a bigger fan base after Nick had his car accident.

I went to the sites that you don't go to anymore.

Not a single thread about this. And those sites have a lot of Goodman brand haters.

No one cares.

Dude we had a pres that stained a dress and lied about it under oath, not many cared. He could be the currant CEO of Goodman and they wouldn't even notice a sales drop.

Must be from old age , he had grey hair and those coveralls were from the 50's.

Just like the Maytag guy. Hard to believe the world was like that back in the 50's and 60's where there was TRUE professionalism. Ain`t ever goin back to that.

The Maytag man shot poor Dave, Seems Maytag guy proved the Maytag mod furnace made the the Lennox 3 stage mod furnace (not a true mod by the way) look like a a standing pilot furnace.

Dave drew first but Maytag was quicker and got Dave first

Hayuk yuk yuk yuk

OOh, now do we want to talk about what exactly a true mod is. Proportional bands etc etc. Everyone has there own version and I can guarantee that if U did a blind test with 5 identical houses and put a 3 stage, vs any brand of mod less than 5% of the people could notice the difference.
