Goodman gas furnace electronic ignitor

I have a older natural gas goodman Furnace PG0-60125-1AB
The filter got clogged and the unit shut down. After changing filter the unit would not ignite. Has a United Tech Electronic ignitor control.
Upon inspection, I found the burners had rusted over and were over 1/2 clogged so I tried to open eash port on a 5 Burner system. One of the burners had rusted so bad that it us fell apart and left a huge opening on the top of that burner. I put everything back and it still will not ignite. The blower runs continues but it will not ignite. The ignitor never tries to lite the furnace.
Any suggestions.

Sounds like the high limit switch is stuck open. Sometimes rapping on it with a screwdriver handle will fix it. Be careful with those rusted and holey burners, could cause a lot of serious problems.

Don't run it until you replace those burners.

If the burners are so rusted they fell apart the heat exchanger needs a serious check. IMO you're way past diy here, time to call a service company. Leave it off!
