goodman furnace won't stay fired

rjwhelehan Newbie   Join Date: Oct 2012 Posts: 4	goodman furnace won't stay fired I have a goodman updraft furnace, model gmvc80704bx. Occasionally, when it ignites, it only stays ignited for a few seconds, from 2 seconds to 10. It will continue to fire with the same results, until it shuts down completely. Most of the time it fires normally. Any ideas?

beenthere An old Tradesmen   Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: PA Posts: 18,706	goodman furnace won't stay fired Probably some moisture in the hose or switch. Could also be a build up of corrosion at the ports whee the hose attaches.

rjwhelehan Newbie   Join Date: Oct 2012 Posts: 4	goodman furnace won't stay fired I just tapped on the low pressure switch and it fired normally. I'll try to clean the hoses and keep an eye on it.
