Condensor will not take a charge. Tech said probably the valve in compressor is bad.
Should I replace condensor or get another opinion?

Need alot more info than that to help. What were the pressures? Superheat, subcool? Compressor amps?

Did he call it a relief valve? If that blew and is stuck open then the compressor is shot. Otherwise if he weighed or measured the refrigerant in to the factory specs and it won't build up the proper pressures the valves could be worn out. Need more info. If he said "Probably" then get another opinion and don`t tell the next guy what the first one said.
